As the guardian of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, its supplementing Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children and its supplementing Protocol against Smuggling of Migrants by Land, Sea and Air, UNODC’s primary goal is to promote global adherence to these instruments and assist states in their efforts to effectively implement them.
