Since 2011, Cesvi operates in Libya, being the first Italian NGO to act by providing humanitarian aid facing up to the emergency and to the needs arising from the conflict. Following the turmoil of mid 2014 the expatriate staff was temporarily evacuated, guaranteeing the management by remote that was lately settled in Tunisia. In 2018, following the improvement of security situation, the managerial staff resumed its presence in the country with regular visits to Cesvi premises and ensuring monitoring of the ongoing activities.

Under the supervision and guidance of the Regional Programme Manager, the Grants Manager will have overall responsibility for managing local partner programmes and will provide day-to-day supervision on the projects being implemented under the LEAD programme. S/he will work with the Regional Programme Manager and local Country Managers to evaluate grant submissions and ensure all grants are executed according to SPARK and Donor regulations.

The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative seeks a long-term Gender Based Violence (GBV) Advisor to support implementation of a new 18-month program which seeks to enhance the capacity of service providers (including CSO-operated listening centers and shelters) to protect and assist victims of gender-based violence. The GBV Advisor will provide technical advice and programmatic support to the Tunisia program team in the substantive development and management of the program.
