Final Evaluation of Sri Lanka Floods Operation 2016-2017

1. SUMMARY

Purpose: The purpose of the evaluation is to assess SLRCS disaster preparedness and response capacities during the 2016 & 2017 flood operations; MDRLK005 and MDRLK006. Furthermore, effectiveness, timeliness, and impact of the cash transfer programmes implemented is also to be assessed.

GENERAL FUNCTION

Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the Asia Program Officer provides strategic support and oversight on a variety of department tasks, including project management, donor reporting, donor and partner relations, proposal development and communications. The Program Officer is responsible for mid-level support for a variety of projects within the Asia program unit, primarily Sri Lanka and Myanmar projects.
