Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) is looking for a Technical Field Manager with extensive experience in Integrated Demining Operations. This position will give you the opportunity to work in in a sector-leading humanitarian organisation in Humanitarian Mine Action.
NPA has been involved in demining operations in Colombia since 2015, and currently have operations in the departments of Antioquia and Meta. The Programme's head quarter is located in the capital Bogota, with a regional office in Vista Hermosa in the Meta department.

Chemonics seeks a communications and technical writing specialist for the five-year USAID Natural Wealth Program to conserve biodiversity in Colombia. The program is addressing two critically threatened ecoregions that are underrepresented in the country's system of protected areas: dry tropical forest in the Caribbean region and the savannas, wetlands, and forests in the Orinoquía region.
The Head of Programme (HoP) role in DDG Colombia is required to have overarching responsibility for a dynamic operations and support team, and will be involved in the setup, launch, and implementation of new Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) and Armed Violence Reduction (AVR) activities for a programme undergoing an expansion process.
About the job
Under the umbrella of the Direction of Development Action, HI has been working in Colombia since 1998, assisting persons with disability, displaced populations, armed violence victims and also mine victims. The program started working in the demining sector in 2016, following the historic peace agreement between the government and the FARC.
