The Karen Human Rights Group is looking for a Research Fellow for a six-month period, ideally beginning in the last week September. This position is based in Thailand.
The Research Fellow will support KHRG’s Raw Data Project, which processes human rights documentation received from the field. At the moment, KHRG is receiving reports on the following human rights issues: land confiscation and displacement; militarisation and sporadic clashes between armed groups; landmines; forced labour; gender-based violence; and access to health and education.
Support Medair’s information management processes in Bangladesh. You will be called on to manage data for a variety of sectors, including shelter, nutrition and health and to help manage M&E indicators for each sector. On a day-to-day basis you would be involved in a wide variety of activities involving computer programming, data management, report creation, monitoring and evaluation.
