Here’s where you come in:
As Grants Audit and Compliance Analyst, you will support grant audits by coordinating audit schedules, liaising with stakeholders, and assisting in resolving audit findings and maintaining records. You will support grant programs through training of staff and subrecipients, and strengthen subgrant monitoring by reviewing audits and preparing reports for use across the Partnership. You will also manage activities related to the annual Single Audit and respond to special donor audits as they arise.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferably in public accounting
- At least 1-year audit experience
- Able to effectively communicate with all levels in the organization (verbally and in writing).
- Can thrive in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed work environment
- CPA preferred
- Has knowledge and experience in audit and in all areas of finance and accounting
- Ability to explain complex auditing and accounting processes in simple terms
- Process improvement oriented
- Experience in public accounting working on financial statement audits
- Experience managing, auditing, or accounting for government grants
