Trust Consultancy and Development is an independent research and third-party monitoring and evaluation (M&E) consultancy based in Gaziantep, Turkey, with two sister-companies, one in Islamabad, Pakistan and one in Erbil, Iraq. Trust provides a range of services and works with partner companies and NGOs in the MENA region and beyond. Our work addresses the growing demand for high-quality research, third-party research, data collection, data analysis and capacity-building services. Position Summary:
The Partnership Intern will support the company’s efforts to identify and build strong partnerships with international and local NGOs, research centers, universities, and private companies. The intern will conduct research, prepare outreach materials, coordinate initial partner meetings, and support the drafting of partnership proposals and agreements. This internship offers practical experience for individuals interested in partnership building, donor engagement, and organizational development within the monitoring and evaluation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for potential partners including international NGOs, local NGOs, research centers, universities, and companies.
- Map partnership opportunities and maintain an up-to-date partners database.
- Draft partnership outreach emails and prepare introductory presentations.
- Coordinate and schedule initial meetings with potential partners and prepare meeting notes.
- Support the preparation of partnership proposals and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
- Assist in internal reporting and updates on partnership development progress.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Ongoing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages an asset).
- Good research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), email communication, and online meeting tools.
- Basic understanding of partnership development and donor engagement preferred.
