Field Researchers/Enumerators Recruitment – Palestine (Including Gaza)

STOOS Consulting is seeking qualified and motivated Field Researchers/Enumerators to support upcoming research and evaluation assignments in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip. These assignments will contribute to evidence-based programming in areas such as health, gender equality, livelihoods, youth empowerment, education, and protection, in collaboration with leading international and local development partners.

🔹 Position: Field Researcher/Enumerator

Location: Multiple governorates across Palestine, including Gaza
Type: Short-term consultancy (project-based)
Start Date: July 2025 (tentative)

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct household surveys, key informant interviews (KIIs), and focus group discussions (FGDs) using digital or paper-based tools
• Ensure adherence to ethical data collection standards, including informed consent and confidentiality protocols
• Coordinate with team leaders and supervisors to ensure timely and high-quality data collection
• Document field-level observations that contribute to the contextual understanding of project areas
• Participate in training sessions prior to data collection and in daily debriefings during fieldwork

🔹 Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in field research, enumerator work, or data collection in humanitarian or development settings
• Familiarity with research methodologies including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews
• Proficiency in Arabic (spoken and written); English is an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact respectfully with diverse communities, including women, youth, and vulnerable groups
• Candidates from target areas including Gaza are highly encouraged to apply
• Willingness to travel within assigned areas and work under tight deadlines

🔹 Preferred:

• Experience with digital data collection platforms such as KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO, or ODK
• Background in social sciences, public health, education, or humanitarian studies
• Understanding of local socio-political dynamics in Gaza and the West Bank

🔹 المهام والمسؤوليات:

• تنفيذ استبيانات أسرية، مقابلات مع المخبرين الرئيسيين (KIIs)، ومجموعات نقاش مركّزة (FGDs) باستخدام أدوات رقمية أو ورقية
• ضمان الالتزام بـ المعايير الأخلاقية لجمع البيانات، بما في ذلك الحصول على الموافقة المستنيرة والحفاظ على سرية المعلومات
• التنسيق مع مشرفي الفريق لضمان جمع بيانات عالية الجودة وفي الوقت المحدد
• توثيق الملاحظات والسياقات الميدانية لتعزيز فهم السياق المحلي
• المشاركة في جلسات التدريب التي تسبق العمل الميداني، والاجتماعات اليومية أثناء التنفيذ

🔹 المؤهلات المطلوبة:

• خبرة سابقة مثبتة في البحث الميداني أو جمع البيانات في سياقات إنسانية أو تنموية
• إلمام جيد بأساليب البحث الكمي والنوعي
• إجادة اللغة العربية تحدثاً وكتابة؛ تعتبر اللغة الإنجليزية ميزة إضافية
• مهارات تواصل عالية والقدرة على التعامل باحترام مع جميع الفئات المجتمعية، بما في ذلك النساء، الشباب، والأشخاص من الفئات المهمّشة
• يُشجَّع بشدة تقديم الطلبات من المتقدمين والمتقدمات في قطاع غزة والمناطق المستهدفة الأخرى
• الاستعداد للتنقل والعمل في مختلف المناطق ضمن أوقات ضاغطة

🔹 الأفضلية تُمنح لمن لديه/لديها:

• خبرة في استخدام منصات جمع البيانات الرقمية مثل KoboToolbox أو SurveyCTO أو ODK
• خلفية أكاديمية في العلوم الاجتماعية أو الصحة العامة أو التعليم أو الدراسات التنموية
• فهم جيد للسياق الاجتماعي والسياسي المحلي في الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة
