Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is currently looking for a Consortium Coordinator for the coordination of the ECHO-funded multi-sectoral response project between PAH and GOAL in Renk and Manyo counties, Upper Nile State. The position plays a key role in ensuring timely and quality donor reporting, supporting field-based program implementation, and leading the administrative coordination between consortium partners.
This role is Field-based, focusing primarily on grant cycle management, donor reporting, partnership compliance, and cross-partner coordination. The field presence will be maintained by project teams based in Manyo, Renk, and surrounding areas.

PAH in South Sudan: Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) has been operating in South Sudan since 2006, as one of the first NGOs established in Jonglei State. We are a small team of dedicated individuals committed to delivering tangible and sustainable change in the largest, most populous, and most conflict-affected state of South Sudan. Due to the expertise, we have accumulated over the years especially in WASH and S/NFI, PAH led the coordination of the Jonglei Sub-national WASH and S-NFI clusters from 2014 to 2021 and 2019 to date respectively coordinating WASH emergency responses with partners to ensure that all vulnerable communities are served during crises. Our priority is to ensure that people have access to clean water and safe hygienic conditions. PAH also provides assistance to internally displaced people and most vulnerable communities, working in the sectors of WASH, Shelter NFI, Food Security and Livelihood, Protection and Education.

Main Objective of the Position
- Ensure overall coordination, administration, and compliance of the ECHO-funded consortium project
- Support the preparation, review, and submission of timely donor reports, budgets, and modifications
- Coordinate between PAH and GOAL in implementation oversight, financial tracking, and MEAL contributions
- Lead and facilitate internal and external audits and ensure document readiness and risk mitigation
- Serve as focal point for HQ compliance, donor communications, and lessons learned documentation
- Ensure the partnership framework between PAH and GOAL adheres to donor and organizational requirements
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Program & Grants Management
- Coordinate grant implementation cycles, including start-up, reporting, modification, and closure processes
- Support partners in project proposal development, logical framework, indicators, and budget alignment
- Monitor activity implementation progress through coordination with field teams and MEAL units
Partnership Management
- Maintain effective communication with GOAL and PAH project teams, aligning milestones and deliverables
- Draft and maintain the Partnership Framework Agreement (FWA), including joint accountability and reporting procedures
- Organize regular consortium coordination meetings and prepare action point summaries
Compliance & Donor Engagement
- Ensure full compliance with ECHO regulations, PAH internal protocols, and partnership agreements
- Track contractual obligations and ensure quality narrative and financial submissions
- Serve as primary liaison for Grant queries, audit readiness, and external communications
Reporting & Documentation
- Coordinate, draft, and compile quarterly and final donor reports and budget modifications
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all financial and programmatic deliverables
- Support HQ, Country and field offices with inputs on project performance, risks, and strategy alignment
Capacity Building
- Train relevant field staff on grant compliance, documentation standards, and partnership expectations
- Promote knowledge sharing and learning within the consortium on donor trends, tools, and challenges
Safeguarding and Code of Conduct
- All PAH staff are expected to uphold the values of dignity, integrity, and equality. The Consortium Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that activities are conducted in a manner that respects community sensitivities, prevents harm, and aligns with PAH's Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
The successful candidate will be selected based on the qualification requirements described below
- University degree in development studies, International Relations, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grants management, project coordination, or partnerships in a humanitarian setting
- Strong experience working with ECHO-funded projects or other major institutional donors
- Prior experience in multi-agency or consortium coordination is a strong asset
- Proven experience in reporting, budgeting, and donor compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural teams
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Experience in WASH department coordination and technical supervision
- Experience working in cross-sectoral projects with WASH, Nutrition, and FSL or nutrition-sensitive projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage partnerships and inter-agency coordination effectively
- Strong planning and time management skills; ability to prioritize under pressure
- Understanding of South Sudan humanitarian context is a strong asset
- Experience with project cycle management tools (logical framework, indicator matrix)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
