Are you passionate about education and ready to take on a leadership role in a community-based project? Intiwawa is looking for a committed and organized Education Project Coordinator to oversee and support the learning journey of the over 50 students we work with in Mollebaya, Arequipa. In this role, you will lead and coordinate a team of volunteer teachers, ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our after-school academic support program, and contribute your own ideas to help strengthen the educational impact of our work. You will also serve as the main point of contact for volunteers, parents, and local partners, ensuring that all academic activities run efficiently and align with Intiwawa’s mission.
Responsibilities
● Work onsite in our program center in close collaboration with the General Director, Project Coordinator, and onsite teaching staff.
● Supervise and coordinate daily homework sessions, academic support, and enrichment activities.
● Create and manage weekly schedules for students and volunteers.
● Monitor student progress and share regular updates with the General Director and Project Coordinator.
● Participate in the evaluation and feedback processes for volunteers.
● Maintain clear documentation, including incident tracking and communication with parents.
● Ensure compliance with Intiwawa’s internal policies and procedures onsite.
Requirements
● Conversational Spanish level minimum.
● Minimum 18 years old
● Intercultural awareness and communication skills

● Monday - Friday from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm and 2 Saturdays / month
