The OML Center is looking for a dynamic and creative Digital Content Producer to enhance our digital presence and engagement. The ideal candidate will develop and execute social media strategies that communicate the Center’s initiatives to diverse audiences. This role is project-based for six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Scope of Work
Under the overall and direct supervision of the Communication Specialist, the Digital Content Producer will contribute to the overall digital presence and engagement of the Center. The following are the specific duties and responsibilities of the Digital Content Producer:
Digital Content Production
- Work with the internal team to plan, produce, and edit high-quality digital content, including graphics and videos
- Produce an average of ten (10) static social media posts and one (1) short-form video per month.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to amplify key messages and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Communication Specialist in ensuring that all digital content and materials are consistent with the Center’s branding and messaging.
- Produce related content from available publications / work of the Center and stay updated on climate change trends.
Social Media Monitoring and Management
- Schedule and publish posts on the Center’s social media platforms (Facebook, X, and Instagram, with the possibility of TikTok).
- Submit a monthly content calendar by the 15th of each month, outlining all planned content for the upcoming month.
- Track and analyze performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Submit a monthly performance report with insights and recommendations.
- Present findings, insights and recommendations to OMLC Management (as needed).
- Provide support to the launch of one (1) social media campaign every quarter.
- Respond to inquiries, engage with followers, and foster online community discussions.
Online admin and support
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of virtual or hybrid events organized by the Center.
- Maintain digital asset folders and naming conventions
Period of Engagement
The Digital Content Producer’s engagement shall commence on July 1, 2025 until December 31, 2025, unless earlier terminated or completed in accordance with the policies of the OML Center.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Experience in video editing or graphic design.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging content.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Express, etc.).
- Experience in online community management is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of climate change is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
