Location: Katsikas, Northern Greece
Start: ASAP | Minimum stay: 6 weeks
Habibi.Works is a solidarity-based makerspace and community hub next to the Katsikas refugee camp. We provide access to tools, knowledge, and networks for people on the move, local residents, and international makers. We are not an aid organization—our work is rooted in dignity, autonomy, and community.
We’re currently looking for two committed people to join our team:
🧵 Sewing Workshop Supervisor
You're confident with sewing machines and love to create? In this role, you’ll support users in learning and working on personal or collaborative projects, organize the space, and help build a welcoming, skill-sharing atmosphere.
🚲 Bike Workshop Supervisor
You have mechanical skills and a DIY spirit? You’ll keep the space functional, assist people with repairs, manage tools, and run workshops —while creating a respectful, hands-on environment for everyone.
What we offer:
- Warm meal every working day
- Shared dorm accommodation (semi-private rooms with seniority)
- Basic breakfast supplies
- After 3 months, a small financial compensation
- A supportive, purpose-driven international team
- An environment focused on solidarity, not charity
You’ll take part in shared responsibilities like weekly meetings, reception shifts, cooking, cleaning, and community lunches.
Join us in building a space of creativity, resilience, and shared power.
