RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
- Manage a portfolio of 5-7 simultaneous projects (some ongoing maintenance, others new builds).
- Coordinate developers, designers, and humanitarian specialists across multiple time zones.
- Gather requirements, define scopes, and translate client needs into actionable tasks.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables, using tools like Trello, Jira, GitHub.
- Facilitate regular check-ins, retrospectives, and QA processes.
Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring expectations are aligned and feedback loops are smooth.
- Provide high-quality reporting, documentation, and user support when needed.
Business Development Support
- Contribute to writing technical sections of proposals and concept notes.
- Support the preparation of slide decks and demos for client pitches.
- Represent Relief Applications at occasional conferences and networking events.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience or proven self-taught programming and project management background will also be considered.
Must have qualifications and skills
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally with an experience in the humanitarian, development, or nonprofit sector.
- Previous experience as a developer (e.g., front-end, back-end, full-stack), either self-taught or formally trained.
- Strong understanding of software development cycles, methodologies (Agile/SCRUM), and tools (e.g., GitHub, Jira).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both tech and non-tech stakeholders.
- Native or fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
- Spanish is a strong advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and autonomy.

- Knowledge of no-code/low-code tools.
- Familiarity with M&E frameworks, IM systems, or data collection tools (e.g., Kobo, ODK).
