General Description of the Programme:
GOAL has been working in Syria since 2013, responding to the acute needs of conflict-affected communities. GOAL is working in Idleb Governate, both through direct implementation and through partners, delivering food, non-food programming to highly vulnerable populations, and provision of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) through support to Water units, as well as emergency support to recently displaced households.
GOAL has been working in North Aleppo Governate since 2019, through direct implementation and through partners, delivering food, non-food programming to highly vulnerable populations, as well as emergency support for recently displaced household.
To monitor and archive all documents and reports related to the Access team in Idleb, Other main duties to include promote the S&S awareness among the GOAL female staff under direction of the Access manager, coordinate the Safety and Security training plan, follow-up on the status of GOAL colleagues who are exposed to any incident, and reporting directly to the Access manager and Access Coordinator.
Duties, objectives and competencies
Promote the S&S awareness among the GOAL female staff.
Coordinate all the Safety and Security training plans.
Archive all documents and reports related to the Access team.
Follow-up on the status of GOAL colleagues who are exposed to any incident in coordination with staff care officer.
Ensure the safety of the offices and staff and participate in the development of standing instructions for security
Train new staff members in communication protocols and the security tree.
Maintain a table of contact numbers for all staff working in the Office, Update, and share list with Access Manager weekly.
Ensure that all staff in the Office have an updated ‘GOAL ID.
Ensure that the daily communications schedule with the field teams is understood and adhered to, record all communications, and failure to communicate in a separate communications log.
Gather information from the field as and when requested.
To carry out any other relevant tasks as requested by Access Manager.
Implementation of security policies and procedures.
Supervise the Guard team.
Attending meetings with managers of various departments when requested to do so by Access Manager.
Raising Incident reports and violations.
Preparing weekly reports.
Monitoring social media and provide report to Access Manager.
- Good spoken and written Arabic.
Good reading and written English.
BA Degree in Business administration or any relevant field.
Computer skills – (Word and Excel…)
Technical skills, including setup, and social media…
The ability to record, keep, and pass accurate messages is essential.
Ability to work under pressure and react to emergencies calmly and logically.
Sensitivity to gender and diversity issues in work practices.
- Good spoken English.
- Communication skills.
- Good knowledge for GOAL working areas context.
