Public Services International (PSI) is looking for an experienced campaign and advocacy officer to implement our global project "Reclaiming hope: building renewed belief in public services for a just COVID19 recovery"

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of the political economy of healthcare and public services, experience in and knowledge of the global trade union movement or civil society advocacy, a strong understanding of global institutions that influence economic, health and labour policies and the capacity to analyse economic data and policy documents to support partners/ affiliates in their advocacy.

PSI is increasing its capacity to promote quality public services in the post COVID context by supporting its affiliates, and working with allies, to influence national governments and global institutions. The position would suit someone highly experienced in national advocacy/ coalition building wanting international experience or someone with global experience wanting to take on a new challenge.

The candidate will work well in a team, can build networks, thrive on supporting others and have international experience or the ability to work in multicultural environments. English is essential and Spanish, French or another PSI official language is highly desirable.

The position is for 18 months, with renewal subject to funding, based in Ferney Voltaire, France (approximately 30 minutes from the centre of Geneva). Given COVID present travel restrictions we might consider remote working for candidates based in cities ordinarily accessible to Geneva, to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
