A major player in humanitarian aid, Action Against Hunger manages an annual budget of more than 200 million euros across 22 countries. Changing environments (in terms of emergencies and development), increasing volumes, complex operations, and evolving tools (such as a new share cost allocation methodology) require occasional support to country offices (on site or remotely).
Each country office has a Finance Head of Department, a finance team in the capital and field-based finance teams. Support requests are both for strengthening current teams and for replacements. Additionally, if you are interested in longer field missions, positions open regularly. As a member of the ACF family, you will receive advanced notice of these openings.

I started my career with ACF as a cashier and it was with great passion that I rose through the ranks. There was always a challenge for me to take on. I learned a lot within the finance department and it must be said that beyond being a humanitarian organization with strong values and principles, Action Against Hunger is a real school. It is an organization that invests a lot in training, and in building its employees’ capacities in order to bring quality and innovation to its response to various humanitarian crises around the world. This is one of the major reasons why I have a strong feeling of belonging towards this organization. Working in the Finance sector at ACF is to be an essential part of the preparation and implementation of the entire response strategy in a humanitarian crisis. A member of the Finance team has a global view on the entire intervention strategy as well as on operational aspects on the ground. S.he intervenes from start to finish in the implementation of a country office’s projects, which reveals her.is essential role within the organization.
