MVL (Macro Vantage Levant) is an industry leading construction and supply chain management company that provides professional services to companies within the defense, construction, and engineering industries. MVL has been awarded a prime contract which seeks to address the catastrophic losses in public infrastructure caused by the 2015 earthquake and its aftershocks. This project will restore normalcy, build resilience, and move Nepal towards recovery by supporting the Government of Nepal’s efforts to rebuild and strengthen disaster resilient communities. Through this project, the focus will be to reconstruct, 3 schools and 4 healthcare facilities in Sindhuli.

LOCATION: Sindhuli, Nepal

REPORTS TO: Planning Manager

SALARY: Minimum USD 700


· Bachelor’s degree

· 5 year’s relevant experience

Other skills and requirements

· Experience with Primavera or other Scheduling or Planning software

· Self-motivated, with high degree of attention to details

· Working knowledge of English and fluency in Nepali

· Ability to travel to remote areas

Major Duties

  • Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Assessments, and baseline review
  • Work with project managers to develop detailed schedules and assists the project managers in keeping those schedules current
  • Create and maintain regular project status reports, baseline maintenance and update, and metrics analysis/reporting
  • Interface and Liaise with project manager, construction manager, QC manager and subcontractors to ensure they follow the schedule or better
  • Identify project schedule trends and perform analysis to mitigate delays and problems.
  • Participate in schedule review and progress meetings
  • Updates Projects Schedules; identify all delays
  • Monitors the site progress day by day and evaluate the current situation and the recommended changes to improve the efficiency of the planning and scheduling of the project
  • Identifies and schedules human and equipment resources
  • Report to Projects Director and Planning Manager
  • Self-motivated, with high degree of attention-to-detail
  • Working knowledge of English and fluency in Nepali
  • Ability to travel to remote areas
