Preferred Communities Specialist
The Preferred Communities (PC) program is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and helps refugees with vulnerabilities become self-sufficient and integrated by providing them with individualized intensive case management (ICM) and psychosocial support services. The Preferred Communities Specialist reports to and provides support to USCCB’s PC Program and its affiliate sites. In coordination with the Preferred Communities Coordinator and Vulnerable Care Services Coordinators, this position will assist in maintaining quality program data management and provide administrative support for the Preferred Communities Program, such as coordinating the collection and analysis of data and information from sub-recipients; collecting information needed for funder-required performance reports and assisting with funding proposals; supporting the development and maintenance of information and data systems; and providing technical assistance on affiliate information requests.
B.A. required with related experience. Major Field/Specialty: Social Work, Program Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Resource Specialist, General Operations or related field. Minimum experience 1-3 years in related work fields.
