About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a Senior Leadership role with Oxfam in Yemen. Characterised by fragility, challenging political transition process, and a protracted humanitarian crisis affecting over half the population, Oxfam's Yemen response is one of the Oxfam biggest humanitarian responses across the confederation.
The Humanitarian Programme Coordinator for Yemen will be responsible for strengthening Oxfam's preparedness and response to the Yemen Conflict through supporting the Programme Managers to deliver quality Programmes to affected population of Yemen. This includes Programme design and implementation, coordination and representation. S/he will also contribute and implement Oxfam’s country strategy.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an experienced leader with substantial management experience gained from working in humanitarian Programmes. The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge and passion for working in the Middle East and will have a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams.
In addition to this, they will have substantial experience of successfully delivering large programmes and working in large and complex humanitarian responses.Contract length: 12 Months
This role will give you an opportunity to make a difference in Yemen, as a key contributor to Yemen emergency response, to work with a group of passionate people that are specialists in their fields etc. It offers fair pay and competitive benefits package.
