SUMMARY

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international development organization promoting good governance, civil society development and public administration reform, is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant. Under the President’s and HR Manager’s supervision, the individual will perform the duties outlined below.

DUTIES

  • Coordinate all board events including committee meetings, full board meetings, and new trustee orientations. Take minutes at board and committee meetings and keep related files organized. Prepare (20%)
  • Provide administrative support to President (20%)
  • Process payments in Serenic Navigator (10%)
  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources Manager, including: (50%)
    • Manage the HRIS and maintain personnel records according to labor laws and best practices; generate reports for routine, compliance, or organizational needs as requested
    • Handle employee benefits matters related to open enrollment, new hire benefits enrollment, enrollment changes, troubleshooting employee benefit issues, and the customer service aspect of benefits oversight
    • Coordinate all activities and documentation of the employee life cycle process (i.e., recruitment, hiring, onboarding and separation) across the organization such as scheduling, logistics and related duties
    • Assist with execution of department meetings and organization-wide events

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in international relations or related field required
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Interest in HR functions (employee relations, talent management, onboarding procedures, benefits, etc.)
  • Strong people skills, positive attitude and overall outgoing disposition
  • Advanced MS Office experience required
  • Familiarity with Serenic Navigator preferred
  • Native-level fluency in written and spoken English required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines while quickly producing high-quality work is essential
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
