Health Program Fellow

This is an expatriate position intended to build capacity of national staff and refugee volunteers. The WASH/Energy Program Fellow will carry out all duties with local counterparts to ensure project implementation, and sustainability by building the capacity of national staff.

Primary Responsibilities of Fellow

  • Overall assessment of Health Program, provide oversight and guidance to Program Manager (PM) and team

  • Assess Rohingya Volunteers, identify shortcomings, monitor field level implementation, guide PM through project management cycle

  • Based on performance assessment, guide Health Program Team to improve and address community needs

  • Assist PM in design and implementation of program

  • Build capacity of PM to achieve deliverables including creation of detailed implementation plan, concept notes, budgets, work plans, cash projections, etc.

  • Represent CPI at stakeholder coordination meetings, along with PM

  • Assist Program Manager to liaise with health actors working in camps, health focal points, UN, local and iNGOs

  • Conduct monthly program monitoring visits

  • Assist PM to evaluate progress against work plan, logframe, and budget every month


  • Concept notes, budgets, work plans, cost plans, field stories and cash projections

  • Detailed project implementation plan

  • Training curriculum (outsource for translation if needed)

  • Performance skills checklist for CHVs to provide home-based outreach services

Requirement/ Skills

  • Relevant degree (Global/Public Health) and/or development experience

  • 4-6 month duration minimum

  • Proven ability to build capacity

  • Ability to work with others and independently

  • Global experience working with people from different cultures

  • Strong program management and organizational skills
