The Ministry Coordinator will ensure the effective integration of relevant ministry strategies and activities in projects implemented in Metro Manila in accordance with the Samaritan’s Purse PhiliThe Ministry Coordinator will ensure the effective integration of relevant ministry strategies and activities in projects implemented in Metro Manila in accordance with the Samaritan’s Purse Philippines (SPPh) Ministry Framework and Strategies. This position will work in close coordination with the Program Coordinators/Managers and in consultation with the Area Coordinator. This position will be responsible for coordinating all ministry related efforts, incorporating ministry components in projects with the emphasis on developing active partnerships with leaders of local churches and para-church organizations to further evangelism and discipleship in the communities served by the SPPh projects.
o Preferably a degree on Theology, Bible Study or any Ministry related course or equivalent combination of education and experience.
o Must be able to articulate strong understanding of Christ’s work throughout the Old and New Testament.
o At least two years of Pastoral ministry and alike training/experience. o Experienced in coordination with different ministerial bodies and/or inter-denominational churches.
o At least two years of experience in holistic ministry in a community.
o Must be culturally sensitive and respectful of church and community leaders from all denominations.
o Must be able to demonstrate strong leadership, discipleship and mentoring skills and behaviour.
o Spiritual maturity and the ability to use and apply God's Word in leading self and others.
o Strong initiative and self-motivation, with a commitment to teamwork.
o Experience in managing small teams.
o Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable.
o Is willing and able to learn basic level local dialects as needed.
o Computer literacy in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
