“Unifield” ERP Medical Supply Support (pharmacist) M/F
Unifield is an Information System (ERP) aiming to replace the existing field management tools with a new solution that will integrate finance and supply, and be shared by all coordinations and projects. The MSF Operational Centre of Paris (OCP) started his deployment phase in 2018. The current Unifield team is composed by 12 people (1 Unifield project manager, 1 finance project manager, 1 supply project manager, 1 IT project manager, 1 finance referent, 7 Implementation Officers).
His/her mission is to provide adapted documents and tools to support the implementation of Unifield in MSF OCP missions on medical stock management and medical order management scope. He/she will be responsible of the preparation for the migration of medical data from Isystock to Unifield, and he/she will transfer his/her knowledge to Unifield Deployment Team.
As focal point in Unifield team for all medical supply issues, he/she will liaise with the coordinations/projects and HQ departments (supply and medical) and will contribute to the change in management that Unifield brings to the projects , ensuring it’s in line with the general policies of both supply and medical departments.
Under the supervision of Unifield project director, and with a technical link with HQ pharmacist referents of the medical department, the Unifield Medical Supply Support will be required to perform the following main activities in concert with the Unifield supply team, the supply referents, and the fields:
1/ Change in management:
Is the link with colleagues from other sections
Compile feedbacks and tickets from medical users in order to propose Request for Development for Unifield.
Responsible of adaptation of unifield on substantive topics in link with med and supply departments : monthly reports evolutions, link with the MSL, Replenishment Rules and all others pharmacy related evolutions already identified and future…
Responsible of the adjustment of the training materials and mapping tools used during Unifield deployments for a better correlation with medical supply activities, in line with MSF OCP Supply, Pharmacy, and deployment strategy.
Upgrade the existing documents (powerpoints, technical sheets, SOP, guidelines…) and trainings from Isystock to Unifield (Monthly & annual pharmacy report, Unifield step by step inventory, PPDP, existing training tools, EPREP stock management, etc.) or develop new documents/training if needed.
Perform briefings/debriefings, participate in meetings (unifield mission implementation meetings, operational meetings, development meetings…)
Contribute to technical support for medical Unifield users
2/ Preparation for migration of medical data into unifield tool
Ensure with HQ pharmacy referents, Medical coordinator and medical responsible of the cell, that Medical Standard Lists and medical order tools used in the missions are updated and validated.
Ensure that msf OCP subscriptions in Unidata are done for every product in stock or items belonging to the Medical standard lists used in the missions
Update Isystock codes and descriptions according to Unidata last updated products.
Review the organization of the staff dedicated to medical supply, and review the flow of medical products from the pharmacy store to the end-users unit. Propose adaptation, when needed, in order to prepare a soft implementation of unifield.
In charge of assigning users responsibilities, and of the definition of Unifield User Rights and configuration for the medical team, according to the above mention point (staff and flow).
Collect Isystock data and prepare the import files needed for the migration of medical products into Unifield (Consumptions, IO, back Orders, FMC, Order lists, unit medical standard list, etc.)
Ensure that the medical supply pre-requisites are prepared by the field teams before the deployment of unifield
Participate to the field visits as part of the mapping prior to deployment if needed
By joining a project in its launching phase, flexibility to accept other activities when needed is required.
Education and Experience
MSF field experience of more than 12 months as pharmacist (at least 6 months with MSF OCP)
Previous experience with Unifield is considered as an asset
University degree or equivalent professional qualification in pharmacy
Experience or interest to train/coach MSF staffs (different positions)
Languages : Fluent in French and English
Skills and Aptitudes
Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Adaptation skills and willing to travel to field projects
Strong ability to work in a team and motivated to join a small team in the launching phase of a project
Confident working with software and information systems
Conditions : 9-month fixed-term contract, full time, based in Paris with movements to the field.
Starting date : April 2019
Salary : 41,2 k€ gross salary over 13 months. 22 days of RTT/year. Additional health insurance coverage provided by MSF (100%). Restaurant tickets 9€ face value (60% covered by MSF). 50% of public transportation costs covered.
