Accountability, Strategy & Annual Planning Coordinator

Main objective of the role:

The Accountability, Strategy & Annual Planning Coordinator acts as a focal point for CBM’s Federation wide Accountability activities. She/He coordinates with stakeholders to ensure coherent quality accountability reporting. The role holder supports leadership in developing and reviewing the common strategy within agreed strategic cycles. She/He supports the implementation of the CBM Federation Strategy and its subsequent change management process. She/He coordinates the development of annual operational plans for CBM International.

We are looking for someone who will…

• Act as a CBM main focal person for Accountable Now (AN) and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS)
• Proactively liaise with AN and CHS, bring topics to the executive management and ensure follow through
• Ensure consistent and timely accountability reporting, coordinate input from various parts of the CBM Federation
• Support the implementation of CBM’s Federation Strategy 2021, regular monitoring and reporting on the implementation of the strategy
• Management of the Federation Strategy intranet site
• Ensure transformation work stream managers can effectively work together, e.g. support transformation work stream managers from a project management perspective
• Develop a common and consistent format for the annual operational plan and coordinate its development across CBM International, ensuring cross functional exchanges along the process.

We are looking for someone who has…

• University Degree in (project) management, business administration or related
• Experience in organisational strategy development and implementation
• Experience in project management/ annual operational planning
• Experience in accountability reporting
• Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholders processes
• Knowledge of Project Management tools (with a focus on annual operating planning)
• Knowledge of Change Management tools
• Very good computer skills (MS Office)
• Proven writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Work experience in a development context
• Ability to engage and motivate others
• Detail oriented
• Ability to plan and prioritise activities
• Presentation and/or facilitation skills
• Results driven mindset
• Cultural adaptability
• English fluent
• Lived experience of a disability would be an advantage
