Grant Finance Manager – Inclusion Works

Sightsavers are keen to offer an exciting opportunity to develop and manage robust systems and processes that will oversee the financial aspects of the inclusion Works programme, and all related partner contracts as well. Working with Institutional Funding, PPR, and consortium partners, the post will be responsible for the management of the Inclusion Works accountable grant and that the financial requirements are fully meet.

The post holder will manage the core project budgeting process from development through to finalisation, establish output targets to properly reflect budgeting by liaising with programmatic colleagues and provide reviews of expenditure for all consortium and implementing partners and countries.

This role is also responsible for the timely delivery of accurate donor financial submissions, including expenditure reports and forecasting, along with producing quarterly internal management accounts, contributing to annual project reporting with focus on Value for Money (VFM) and further contributing to annual project reporting focusing on VFM.

The successful candidate will have proven finance and accountancy experience, either having qualified, or part-qualified, as an accountant being an advantage. A background in overseas development or within the humanitarian sector is also advantageous, as is prior knowledge of institutional donor or large scale contract management.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent numerical skills, be highly proficient with Excel, have a strong strategic approach to all areas and be positive in further developing the skills and knowledge to remain current with donor funding developments.
