Legal Compliance Senior Officer

CBM is an international Christian development organisation, committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the poorest communities of the world. We are looking to recruit a Legal Compliance Senior Officer.

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Lead for CBM International Office in all legal matters and liaison person for all external advisors and/ or government authorities.

  • Regularly control and ensure legal compliance for all CBM International legal documents for project work and/or service contracts.

  • On a regular basis, initiate reviews of existing templates to incorporate changes in law in different countries.

  • Monitor, manage and advance CBM International’s legal registrations worldwide.

  • Establish CBM International Business Contract Management System.

  • Ensure the legal protection of CBM Trademark(s) internationally and monitor regular Trademark research and protection reports on possible collisions against CBM International’s registered Trademarks.

  • Provide advice and generalist support in legal matters to employees and/or their managers.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a legal Advisor/Officer position with focus on contract-, trademark-, tax- and not-for profit law, preferably in a multinational corporation or an international not-for profit organisation.

  • Experience and knowledge of complex Multi-Party Contracts development (Consortia contracts etc.) would be an advantage.

  • Experience and knowledge in German and international law.

  • University Degree in jurisprudence and/or law-graduation relevant qualification.

  • Fluent German and English, French or Spanish would be an advantage Advanced user of MS Office.
