As of 21 June, an estimated 415,600 people have been affected by floods and landslides in Sri Lanka, of whom approximately 30 per cent are children, according to UNICEF.
Rice production is expected to drop by nearly 40 percent in 2017 and some 900,000 people are food insecure. Assisting farmers is critical to halt the growing food insecurity.

An estimated 3.3 million people have been affected by Tropical Cyclone MORA in Bangladesh with 540,000 people estimated to require humanitarian assistance.
