96 new cholera cases were reported this week, as the outbreak continues to spread to new areas. The response is ongoing, with 129,000 people vaccinated in the first round of a two-round campaign.
Extra efforts have been made to communicate with and gain the support of local leaders, especially those from communities where volunteers were attacked and killed in 2009.
