THE SAINT LUCIA METEOROLOGICAL SERVICES WISHES TO INFORM RESIDENTS OF SAINT LUCIA THAT THE LEVEL OF THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY FROM HURRICANE EMILY HAS DIMINISHED SUFFICIENTLY FOR AN "ALL CLEAR" TO BE ISSUED. WIND SPEEDS AND WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY RETURN TO NORMAL DURING THE COURSE OF TODAY.

SMALL CRAFT AND LOCAL FISHERMEN ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING IN THE SOUTH OF THE ISLAND ARE URGED TO CONTINUE EXERCISING CAUTION AS THEY MAY ENCOUNTER HEAVY SEAS AND GUSTY WINDS.
