Ukraine: Storm - Jul 2007

Disaster description

Between 22 and 24 July 2007, a strong storm with gusts of wind ranging from 15 to 20 meters per second and torrential rains hit 14 regions of Ukraine, or 56 per cent of the state territory. Volyn Oblast was the hardest hit region with 6,268 people directly affected by the disaster, and seventeen people injured. IFRC 21 Feb 2008
