As ‘Kabayan’ moved out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) continues to coordinate with the local government units and Provincial Action Teams (PAT) validating and assessing the families with reported totally and partially damaged houses. I. SITUATION OVERVIEW

Typhoon "JENNY" with International Name "DUJUAN" entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on the afternoon of 23 September 2015.

At 4:00 AM, 29 September 2015, the eye of typhoon "JENNY" was located based on all available data at 425 km North Northwest of Itbayat, Batanes (24.2°N, 120.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon.

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet, Sept. 4 (PIA) - - Calamity fund for the victims of typhoon Ineng in the province is already available

Governor Nestor Fongwan announced this on Thursday during the turn-over of seeds and rice assistance as agri-rehab to farmers affected by typhoon Egay and monsoon rains in July.

Following the declaration of the province under the state of calamity, financial assistance for those affected by typhoon Ineng is available and will be charged under the calamity funds, said Fongwan.

BANGUED, Abra -- Damages wrought by Typhoon Ineng had left the province of Abra under state of calamity.

Damage reports validated by the various member-agencies of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) reached a total of P667,000,500.97 worth of infrastructures and agriculture including houses that were totally and partially damaged by Ineng. Of the 27 municipalities, 16 have been severely affected.
