On October 23 and 24, 2002, five representatives from Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation went to the village of Kotda in the State of Gujarat, India, to attend the opening ceremony for the 227 Great Love Houses donated by Tzu Chi Foundation. The representatives also took the opportunity to visit the Vocational Training Center which is partially-sponsored by Tzu Chi Foundation.
