More than 30 years ago, Aziza Nuriyeva started working as medical assistant at Shakhnazarli medical point, providing medical emergency, counseling and obstetrician services. She remembers the time, when she worked in a dark basement. The medical point building was built in 1985, but was seriously damaged in 2000 earthquake.

The skilled work of displaced people has been showcased at a special exhibition in Azerbaijan.
A four-day craft display at the Miniature Centre in the capital city Baku featured exquisite handicrafts made by refugees and internally displaced people.

The exhibition was organised by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society with help from the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.
