Peru: Cold Wave - May 2011

Since May 2011, more than 13,400 people have been affected by freezing temperatures in several provinces in the Andes. The agricultural sector was also impacted, with more than 4,500 heads of cattle affected (SINPAD, 25 May 2011, Informe de emergencia No. 121).
