Perú- Bajas Temperaturas 30/8/18

El Centro Nacional de Operaciones de Emergencia (COEN) informò sobre el número de personas afectadas en las regiones de Apurímac, Arequipa, Cusco y Puno, debido a las bajas temperaturas, las heladas y la nieve en el país.
A nivel nacional, el número total de personas afectadas fue de 713.980. En las regiones de Cusco y Puno,190.962 personas y 157.258 se vieron afectadas, respectivamente

There is no day that goes past without the impact of an improvised explosive device (IED) making headlines around the world. Of all explosive weapons used, the IED is the most widespread, the most harmful and the most pernicious. Based on the belief that to overcome a problem, we must first understand it, this monitor is a small step in seeking to address the terrible realities of today.
It is a monitor that is, also, a response to a call to action.

2016 was a challenging year for human rights and democracy, with a shrinking space for civil society and complex humanitarian and political crises emerging. In this context, the European Union showed leadership and remained strongly committed to promote and protect human rights and democracy across the world.

Incremento de casos de cólera

Detectado por el Sistema de Alerta y Respuesta en los Departamentos del Norte, Noreste y Centro, alrededor de 200 nuevos casos en los dos últimos días, diseminados por diferentes localidades. El incremento de casos se ha identificado también en los Departamentos del Sur, Sudeste, Nippes, Artibonite y Oeste, tras el paso del Huracán Sandy.

Detected by the Alert and Response System in the North, Northeast and Center Departments, around 200 new cases within the past two days, distributed in different villages.

The increase on cholera cases had been also identified in the South, Southeast, Nippes, Artibonite and West Departments after the Hurricane Sandy

La constante ayuda que ha recibido el país de la comunidad internacional para atender a la población afectada por el terremoto, se ha puesto de manifiesto desde el pasado miércoles, ante esta situación se espera que la Organización de Naciones Unidas pueda enviar dos equipos especializados en temas de desastres naturales.

“La Conred y el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores coordinarán ese apoyo de Naciones Unidas y esperamos en las próximas 48 horas tener una respuesta favorable”, indicó el mandatario Otto Pérez Molina.
