Summary of Procurement of Anti-Tuberculosis Medicines by UNDP as of August, 17, 2016

Kyiv, 17 August 2016 – As of today, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has delivered 92 percent of all contracted medicines and health products to Ukraine’s Ministry of Health. These efforts have saved the government US$4 million.

These products are related to tuberculosis, hepatitis, hemophilia, orphan diseases, HIV and vaccines. UNDP supports the country’s procurement and contracting for these critical, life-saving products. The savings will allow the Ministry of Health to purchase and distribute additional stocks.
