The Council of the European Union has decided to support the peace process in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The EU will contribute financially to the implementation of the cease-fire agreement signed in Lusaka by all parties involved in the crisis: the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Namibia, Rwanda, Uganda, Zimbabwe, the Mouvement pour la Libération du Congo and the Rassemblement Congolais pour la Démocratie.
