The sector has developed common protocols for Supplementary and Therapeutic feeding and has shared these with partner agencies: WFP, UNICEF, WHO, and FAO.

It has been reported from Syria and Jordan that there is complete lack of High Protein Biscuits (HPBs) and Therapeutic Milk (THM).

UNICEF promises to fill this gap immediately by re-routing, on a loan arrangement, some quantity of HPB pre-positioned in Jordan.

The available Therapeutic Milk already delivered has been distributed to all 68 Nutrition Rehabilitation centers in Iraq.

Over the past three months, Oxfam has made preparations for potential refugees, ensuring that essential services and supplies are ready for people fleeing conflict. RUWEISHED, JORDAN - "As of this morning, zero."

That is the refugee flow into Jordan from Iraq, according to United Nations refugee official Douglas Osmond.

Humanitarian workers bracing for a flood of Iraqis fleeing the war to this desert tent camp 30 miles from the border are so far pleasantly surprised. Neither the ferocious bombardment of Baghdad nor fierce fighting in southern Iraq has yet frightened Iraqis into fleeing their homes.

Border posts in Syria, Turkey, Iran, and Saudi Arabia report a similar picture.
