Key Messages

More than 4.8 million people have been displaced by the conflicts Yemen, South Sudan, and Burundi, while others who remain in areas directly impacted by conflict have limited access to their livelihoods and humanitarian assistance. In eastern Ethiopia, El Niño-related dryness has led to a severe drought in many areas, which is expected to contribute to a large-scale food security Emergency in 2016.
