We, the Participants in the International Donor Conference for Reconstruction and Development in Darfur, hosted by the State of Qatar on 7-‐8 April 2013:
-‐ Affirm that the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD) is the main framework for the overall peace process in Darfur; and
Cairo/QNA/21 March 2010/ The International Conference of donors for the reconstruction and development of Darfur approved Qatar's proposal to establish a development bank in Darfur, Sudan, to fulfill the commitments for the development and reconstruction of Darfur . This came in the final statement issued at the conclusion of the donors conference in Cairo on Sunday.
Doha/QNA/15 February 2010/ H.E. the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani held this evening at the Sheraton Doha Hotel intensive meetings with the Sudanese groups. H.E. the Premier also met with UN-AU Joint Mediator Djibril Bassole. He also met separately with the delegation of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM), the delegation of the road map group, and a delegation of the Tripoli group.

Minister Of State For Foreign Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud has said that he and the U.N. and African Union (AU) Joint mediator Djibril Bassole met early Sunday morning with the Sudanese government delegation led by Dr. Ghazi Saluheddin and then met with the Justice and Equality Movement delegation led by Ahmed Tuqud. Speaking to reporters at the Doha Sheraton Hotel following the meetings, H.E. Al Mahmoud said the mediation is awaiting the arrival of Addis Ababa group of which a part has aleady arrived and the other part is on its way to Doha.
Doha/(QNA)/21 November 2009/ H.E. the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud said the ''Doha Declaration'' document, achieved here last night at the conclusion of the three-day consultative meetings of representatives of the civil society in Darfur, contains a number of useful points for a road map towards achieving the targeted peace. Doha/QNA/21 April 2009/ H.E. the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud has received a phone call from Scott Gration, the US President Barack Obama's special envoy to Sudan. Talks over the phone dealt with latest developments in Darfur issue.
Gration stressed the US support for the efforts exerted by the State of Qatar in coordination with the Joint AU-UN Chief Mediator for Darfur Djibril Bassole to find a peaceful solution for the crisis.
