ISLAMABAD, May 8 (KUNA) -- At least two people were killed and over 15 others were wounded in a powerful blast in Quetta city of southwestern Pakistani province Balochistan on Thursday, said police. A senior police official, SP Imran Qureshi in a statement told that the militants had planted explosives in a motorcycle parked near National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) office in the crowded Double road area of the provincial capital.
ISLAMABAD, May 6 (KUNA) -- In a gesture of solidarity with the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan has sent emergency relief assistance for those affected by the landslide in the northeastern Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan last week, said a Foreign Office press release.
On the instructions of Prime Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, the first flight carrying relief supplies has reached Badakhshan on Tuesday.

According to police, unidentified gunmen riding on six motorbikes opened indiscriminate fire in different locations in Kharadar area of Karachi, killing three persons including a woman. The shooting damaged cars and several shops as they were passing through the area.
ISLAMABAD, Dec 26 (KUNA) -- At least five persons were wounded in a bomb blast on Wednesday in Southern Karachi port city, said police.
The incident took place in Sohrab Goth area. Deputy Inspector General Ali Raza told reporters that a bomb had been planted in a motorcycle and parked outside a mosque.
