26 avril 2017 – Le Fonds des Nations Unies pour l'enfance (UNICEF) a fourni 2,5 milliards de doses de vaccins à des centaines de millions d'enfants dans près de 100 pays en 2016, atteignant près de la moitié des enfants âgés de moins de cinq ans dans le monde.
Cela fait de l'agence onusienne le plus grand fournisseur de vaccins pour les enfants dans le monde, a précisé l'UNICEF dans un communiqué de presse.
13 November 2016 – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has condemned the terrorist attack on a Sufi shrine in southwestern Pakistan yesterday that reportedly killed dozens of worshippers.
“The Secretary-General condemns the terrorist attack […] extends his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Pakistan, and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured,” said Mr. Ban's spokesman in a statement issued overnight.

8 August 2016 – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has condemned today’s terrorist bombing at the Civil Hospital in Quetta, Pakistan, underscoring that the targeting of mourners at a civilian hospital made the attack “particularly appalling.”
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mr. Ban urged the Government to do its utmost to ensure safety of the population and bring to justice the perpetrators of today’s attack.

13 January 2016 – United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has condemned today’s suicide bombing close to the premises of a polio eradication centre in Quetta, Pakistan, reportedly killing at least 15 people, and wounding 25 others.
“The Secretary-General reiterates that nothing justifies terrorism,” according to a statement issued by a UN spokesperson, in which Mr. Ban urges the Government of Pakistan to take all necessary measures to swiftly bring to justice the perpetrators of such attacks.
Amid rising levels of violence in Afghanistan that has now spread across a large part of the country, the United Nations Deputy Special Representative there, reported today overall progress in the ability to provide relief aid to those in need, as all parties to the conflict have shown an increase respect for humanitarian laws.

14 September 2015 – The head of the United Nations agency tasked with defending press freedom today denounced the recent killing of two media workers in Pakistan, and called for an investigation into both cases.
“Violence and fear must not be allowed to prevent journalists and media workers from doing their work,” Irina Bokova, Director-General of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), said in a news release, following the killing of Arshad Ali Jaffari and Aftab Alam.
17 August 2015 – United Nations Secretary-General Bam Ki-moon has condemned the bomb attack today in District Attock, in Pakistan’s Punjab Province, and was saddened to learn that the attack had killed more than a dozen people, including Punjab's Home Minister, Shuja Khanzada, and injured many others.
“Nothing justifies terrorism,” the Secretary-General reiterated in a statement issued by his spokesperson in New York, and also expressed hope that the perpetrators would be brought to justice swiftly.
