· There are ongoing dengue serotype-2 outbreaks in Fiji, Vanuatu. The weekly number of cases (dengue serotype-2) reported is decreasing in Tonga and Samoa

• Outbreak of meningococcal disease group C is ongoing in Fiji. As of 29 March 2018 of there have been 38 cases including 4 deaths since 1 January 2018. Majority of the cases are from the Central division and all cases are less than 19 years of age.

- Tropical Cyclone JELAWAT continued moving north, over the North West Pacific Ocean. On 30 March at 0.00 UTC its centre was located 800 km west of Guam island and it had maximum sustained winds of 148 km/h.
- Over the next 24 hours, it is forecast to continue moving north-northeast over open water away from land, passing north of The Mariana Islands on 1- 2 April and slightly strengthening. Heavy rain and strong winds may affect Guam and The Mariana Islands over 30 March- 3 April.

• Outbreak is ongoing in Fiji. There has been a cluster identified in a boarding school in the Central Division. The cases are being treated at the tertiary hospital (Colonial War Memorial Hospital), while contacts of the cases have received appropriate antibiotic prophylaxis. • Ongoing dengue situation in Vanuatu with 86 suspected cases as of 27th February, 2018. Of these cases, 25 confirmed cases by NS1 or IgM and samples and pending PCR and Serotyping at Institute Pasteur in New Caledonia (IPNC). Tonga Ministry of Health declared an outbreak on 24 January 2018. As of 5 February, there have been 52 confirmed cases including a fatal case. Diarrhoea
• There is an outbreak in Kiribati. As of 22 January 2018 there have been 561 cases of diarrhoea since 7 December 2017. Majority of the cases are less than 4 years of age. There have been two hospitalised cases and no associated deaths. Six out nineteen samples testing rotavirus positive using Rapid Diagnostic Kits.
