Rome - May 6, 2008. 'The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Directorate General for Cooperation and Development has contributed with an emergency humanitarian flight in Myanmarin response to urgent humanitarian assistance after the Tropical Cyclone Nargis.

This contribution by the Italian Cooperation consists of approximately 23 tonnes of emergency relief supplies with an overall value at around 375.000 euros.
