Highlights:

- The airbridge from Bangkok to Yangon is planned to continue with one Ilyushin 76 and one Antonov 12 until Logistics Cluster operations end on August 10th. However, as previously stated, this will not be sufficient to bring in all the cargo currently awaiting transport from Thailand. As of Monday, July 14th, the Logistics Cluster stopped accepting Cargo Movement Requests (CMR) for cargo movement from Bangkok, and all cargo for which CMR has been received but which will not make it onto the airbridge will be shipped by sea.

Highlights:

- The staging area in DMK was formally opened on May 24th to receive and forward humanitarian cargo from Bangkok to Yangon. This 20,000 sqm facility, a gift-in-kind from the Thai government, has been a valuable asset to the relief mission. To date, 1,993.5 mt of cargo has been brought into Yangon via the airbridge. However, the warehouse and aircraft are now at capacity and no further CMR can be accepted for air transport.
