Hoy en el marco de la sesión ordinaria del Comité Nacional para el Manejo de Desastres, entidades del Sistema Nacional de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres – SNGRD, se reunieron con el propósito de dar aprobación al Plan Nacional de Contingencia para la II Temporada de lluvias del año.

Durante la sesión, el IDEAM presentó los más recientes pronósticos y condiciones hidrometeorológicas para el país, haciendo énfasis en que será en el mes de octubre donde se estima, se presente el pico más alto de las lluvias en esta temporada.

As the situation in Venezuela continues, the number of asylum applications by citizens of that country has soared. Last year, there were some 27,000 Venezuelan asylum seekers worldwide. So far in 2017, over 52,000 have applied for asylum.
