Hundreds of thousands of people have fled, mainly into Tunisia and Egypt, as a result of attacks by Gaddafi’s forces on civilian populations, the rebellion and NATO bombings. Migrant workers and refugees from Sub-Saharan Africa have been particular targets of violence.
