This week two new events have been reported: malaria outbreak in Burundi and landslide in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Somalia – Food Security

• Deterioration of food security and nutrition expected after poor Deyr rainy season. Early warning issued particularly for Hiraan, Middle and Lower Shabelle, where 550 000 people may be at risk.

• Flooding, conflict and displacement in Middle Shabelle will have further negative impact on food security and connected markets. (ECHO)
