MHub works on behalf of the North Africa Mixed Migration Task Force consisting of DRC, IOM, OHCHR, RMMS and UNHCR. It promotes a human rights-based approach to ensuring the protection of people moving in mixed and complex flows to, through and from North Africa.

THE UNITED NATIONS FOCAL POINT FOR MINE ACTION

UNMAS was created in 1997 as the focal point for mine action within the United Nations system. UNMAS coordinates United Nations mine action entities to ensure a coherent and effective approach to reducing the impact of explosive remnants of war (ERW). UNMAS works with partners at field and headquarters level to ensure that humanitarian priorities are upheld and duplication of effort is avoided through effective coordination and dialogue.

More than ever, dialogue with armed non-State actors (ANSAs) is necessary for the protection of civilian populations from the effects of armed conflict.
