ABU DHABI, 11th November, 2017 (WAM) -- The UAE is attaching great importance to alleviating the burden and improving the living conditions of the Syrian refugees all over the world, said H.H. UPDATES MICAD'S AID FIGURES ABU DHABI, 4th December 2015 (WAM) --- The Ministry of International Cooperation and Development (Micad) said the UAE has provided AED173 billion in foreign aid to 178 countries and geographical areas between 1971-2014.
CAIRO,15th July, 2015 (WAM) -- Al Maktoum Foundation has completed distribution of 10,500 food parcels, at a cost of over AED 500,000, in a number of Egyptian governorates.
The gesture is a donation of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and the patron of Al Maktoum Foundation.
CAIRO, 24th June, 2015 (WAM) -- The Al Maktoum Foundation has begun distribution of 10,000 Ramadan packages - each containing 20 kg of food rations - in the Upper Egypt governorates, as part of the second phase of assistance to underprivileged families in the area.
The aid initiative is courtesy of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, and will initially see 300 food parcels distributed in various villages in Egypt.

Abu Dhabi, 7th April, 2015 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent's higher committee for foreign aid has allocated AED 24. 6 million for international relief operations with Iraqi Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Syrian refugees in Iraq's Kurdistan region taking the lion's share of AED 18.1 million.
